17 Apr Swimming pool leak detection and repair in Brookwater
We then attended to a reported leaking pebblecrete swimming pool in Brookwater. Our client having only just purchased the property discovered his pool was leaking.
We inspected the pump filtration system noting an in line shut off valve on the waste pipe.
We inspected two previous puttied sites on the walls of the pool opposite one another.
We dye tested identifying dye being drawn into a crack in the water line tiles.
We reapplied epoxy putty to both sites as a preventative.
We then entered the pool and inspected and dye tested the skimmer box, inspected dye tested and replaced the hydrostatic valve, removed both lights checking where the cables penetrates the shell. One of the lights in the spa was loose, we packed epoxy putty around the light cable.
We dye tested the blower holes, return jets in both pool and spa before assisting our client to set up a bucket test to further test the pool.
