This morning we attended to a reported leaking fibreglass swimming pool in Regents Park.
We noted the nature strip adjoining the pool was really wet.

We conducted a series of tests which included multi port valve test, hydrophone microphone testing, pressure testing of the suction and return concealed plumbing. We noted the directional valve towards the water feature line was not 100% closed. We adjusted the valve to close if off correctly.

We then entered the pool noted large gaps around the skimmer face. we applied epoxy putty bead to the sides and base of the skimmer face.
We checked the main drain noting a lot of debris, we cleaned out the drain and replaced the hydrostatic valve before re detesting the valve and drain.

We removed the light fitting and dye tested the cable before inspecting and dye testing the return internals.

We inspected and dye tested the skimmer box.

We discussed our testing with our client before setting up a bucket test for our client to monitor over the next 48 hours.
