This morning we attended to a reported concealed water leak in Carindale. A water meter test revealed a leak of just 144 litres per day, a pressure test failed.
The house is around 12 feet lower than the street and there are number of retaining walls terracing down to the house level.

We introduced compressed air and the tracer gas which gas us a reading in the retaining walls between the 1st and 2nd level.

We showed our client our findings and suggested a new line from the water meter to the house would be the best option given the terrain.

Trevor and Sam attended my property to detect and repair an underground water pipe leak. They were very professional and experienced with their work. They located the water leak under the concrete slab exactly where it was, using various radar tool and equipment. Once Sam identified the location of the possible leak, Trevor seconded it by doing his own verification. This allow them to neatly cut the concrete slab with precision, minimising any destructive work and damages. They replaced the faulty joints and retested the new connection with compressed air. They were also very meticulous in their work, testing and retesting several times to make sure there is no leak to the new joint, before backfilling it. Definitely gave me great confidence through the entire process, as their experience shows they know what they are doing. Well done guys. Great job!
