This morning we attended to a reported concealed water leak in Runcorn
We noted water was pooling in the back yard. A water meter test revealed a leak of 960 litres per day, a pressure test failed.
We isolated all the internal services then introduced compressed air into the line and using our acoustic listening device identified the likely leak site .
We excavated to locate a failed 25 mm poly joiner . Our licenced plumber completed the repair before we tested the repair then the whole line to find it secure.
We backfilled and cleaned the site .

Trevor and Sam attended my property to detect and repair an underground water pipe leak. They were very professional and experienced with their work. They located the water leak under the concrete slab exactly where it was, using various radar tool and equipment. Once Sam identified the location of the possible leak, Trevor seconded it by doing his own verification. This allow them to neatly cut the concrete slab with precision, minimising any destructive work and damages. They replaced the faulty joints and retested the new connection with compressed air. They were also very meticulous in their work, testing and retesting several times to make sure there is no leak to the new joint, before backfilling it. Definitely gave me great confidence through the entire process, as their experience shows they know what they are doing. Well done guys. Great job!

He told me exactly which questions I should ask.Sam arrived at the scheduled date/time and got to work right away.
