This morning we attended to a reported concealed water leak in Eight Mile Plains, we had previously located and repaired a leak in October 2023.

A water meter test revealed a leak of 540 litres per day, we isolated all the services inside and rechecked the water meter which was still moving slowly.

We introduced compressed air into the line which identified a likely source in the front garden bed.

We excavated to locate a leaking irrigation control valve, we excavated further to locate an isolation valve. After shutting off the valve we conducted another pressure test, then water meter test to find it secure.

Our client was unaware of the irrigation control valve and box.

Trevor and Sam attended my property to detect and repair an underground water pipe leak. They were very professional and experienced with their work. They located the water leak under the concrete slab exactly where it was, using various radar tool and equipment. Once Sam identified the location of the possible leak, Trevor seconded it by doing his own verification. This allow them to neatly cut the concrete slab with precision, minimising any destructive work and damages. They replaced the faulty joints and retested the new connection with compressed air. They were also very meticulous in their work, testing and retesting several times to make sure there is no leak to the new joint, before backfilling it. Definitely gave me great confidence through the entire process, as their experience shows they know what they are doing. Well done guys. Great job!
