This morning we attended to a reported leaking above ground vinyl lined swimming pool in Windsor. We noted the pool clarity was not completely clear. We also noted there was a large tear on the wall of the pool which had been patched by our client.
We tested the integrity of the vinyl liner using our Leaktrac 2400, we swept the walls and floor twice which directed us to the large tear and a previous putty patch on the wall.
We entered the pool and noted the tear on the wall to be massive in size. We attempted to apply epoxy putty to seal up the leak.

We dye tested all previous puttied sites, none of which were drawing dye.

We inspected the skimmer box and the internal of the return jet and dye tested both sites.

The vinyl liner needs replacing.
