We then attended to a reported sudden dramatic loss of water in a fibreglass pool in Hemmant. This is generally an indication of. failed hydrostatic valve. Our client advised he had not changed the valve in the fifteen years he had been at the property.

We tested the pump filtration before inspecting ad dye testing the skimmer box. We then entered the pool and noted putty on the base of the existing hydrostatic valve. We removed the putty and replaced the valve before reapplying the putty and dye testing.

We then inspected the skimmer box and face, return jets and in pool table base.

We assisted our client to set up a bucket test to determine if the issue has been resolved.
