11 Feb Pre Purchase swimming pool inspection & report in Bracken Ridge
This morning (yes on a Sunday) we attended to conduct a pre purchase swimming pool inspection on a vinyl lined pool in Bracken Ridge, our client called yesterday after another contractor cancelled at the last minute. As settlement was tomorrow we attended.
Tests were conducted on the pool pump filtration, pressure testing on all possible concealed plumbing, hydrophone and dye testing of the penetrations. We used our Leaktrac 2400 to test the integrity of the vinyl liner which had 9 existing patches and 7 more holes/tears were located during the inspection.
The pool liner is at its end of life. We sent images to one of our colleagues which provided a estimate to complete a conversion.
We phoned our client and provided him our feedback and that of our colleague who advised that particular type of vinyl liner is problematic to replace.
A report, images and estimation of repairs were forwarded to our client on the same day.
