23 Feb Pebblecrete swimming pool leak detection & repair in Upper Coomera
This morning we attended to a reported leaking pebblcrete pool in Upper Coomera, we noted that level of the water was not consistent along the pool meaning the pool had dropped.
We inspected the skimmer box, hydrophone tested the pipework, skimmer box and main drain including hydrostatic valve.
We then pressure tested the suction and return lines which held pressure.
We dye tested the spa jets and the blower holes on the step.
Dye was seen being drawn into the blower holes, we plugged all the blower holes with epoxy putty before re dye testing them.
We then noted a piece of pebblecrete had lifted off the step, we dye tested there and dye was escaping under the pebbelcrete, we applied a layer of putty to that site.
We then inspected the main drain noting it was full of debris we cleaned the drain and replaced the hydrostatic valve.
