13 Feb Leaking pebblecrete swimming pool testing in Carindale
We then traveled to a reported leaking pebblecret pool in Carindale. We tested the multi port valve and skimmer box and return jets.
We entered the pool and removed the main drain to find the drain full of debris and rocks. We noted the hydrostatic valve was slightly ajar and likely to be the cause of the leak.
We cleaned out the drain before replacing the 50mm hydrostatic valve and re dye testing.
We removed the light and bracket and dye tested where the cable penetrates the shell.
We inspected the floor the pool where out client thought there was a hairline crack. We located this crack, dye tested and found it Not to be leaking.
We set up a bucket test for our client to monitor the pool water levels.
