This morning we attended to another reported concealed water leak in New Farm, a water ,meter test revealed a leak of 5760 litres per day. We had repaired another leak on site in August 2022. A pressure test failed, We noted water coming from under concrete close to the garage. After tracing the line we drilled a number of holes in the concrete then introduced compressed air and water to hone in on the leak site.
We identified the most likely leak site before we removed a section of concrete and excavated to locate a failed 1/2 inch copper pipe. Our licenced plumber completed the repair before we tested the repair then the line to find it secure. We backfilled with sand before reinstating the the concrete section and cleaned the site.

Trevor and Sam attended my property to detect and repair an underground water pipe leak. They were very professional and experienced with their work. They located the water leak under the concrete slab exactly where it was, using various radar tool and equipment. Once Sam identified the location of the possible leak, Trevor seconded it by doing his own verification. This allow them to neatly cut the concrete slab with precision, minimising any destructive work and damages. They replaced the faulty joints and retested the new connection with compressed air. They were also very meticulous in their work, testing and retesting several times to make sure there is no leak to the new joint, before backfilling it. Definitely gave me great confidence through the entire process, as their experience shows they know what they are doing. Well done guys. Great job!
