20 Jan Concealed water leak detection and repair on acreage in Sheldon
This morning we attended to a concealed water leak on an acreage property in Sheldon, a water meter test revealed a leak of 10,800 litres per day. A pressure test failed.
We introduced compressed air which identified the likely leak site being close to a Hot water service.
We excavated to find a failed 32mm poly “T” piece.
Our licence plumber completed the repair before testing the repair then the whole line to find it now secure.
We backfilled the site and ensure all services inside were operating.
We assisted our client to make a claim through their water provider for some of the excess charges caused by the concealed leak.
