This morning we attended to a reported concealed water leak in Tarragindi. We conducted a water meter test which revealed a leak of 8640 litres per day. A pressure test failed. The sound of water running was heard inside the front door.

We introduced compressed air and identified some bubbling near a a stormwater downpipe.

We identified the likely leak source, removed a section of concrete to locate a failed copper pipe. Our licenced plumber completed the repair before testing the repair and then the whole line to find it secure.

We backfilled with sand before reinstating the concrete and cleaned the site.

Trevor and Sam attended my property to detect and repair an underground water pipe leak. They were very professional and experienced with their work. They located the water leak under the concrete slab exactly where it was, using various radar tool and equipment. Once Sam identified the location of the possible leak, Trevor seconded it by doing his own verification. This allow them to neatly cut the concrete slab with precision, minimising any destructive work and damages. They replaced the faulty joints and retested the new connection with compressed air. They were also very meticulous in their work, testing and retesting several times to make sure there is no leak to the new joint, before backfilling it. Definitely gave me great confidence through the entire process, as their experience shows they know what they are doing. Well done guys. Great job!
