09 Jan Concealed water leak detection and repair in Fig Tree Pocket
This morning we attended to a reported concealed water leak in Fig Tree Pocket, a water ,meter test revealed a leak of 2468 litres per day. A pressure test failed, we noted water running out adjacent to the driveway towards the meter. We traced the line then introduced a combination of compressed air and water after drilling a number of pilot holes in the concrete driveway.
We determined the location of the leak then removed a section of concrete and excavated to locate a failed 25mm poly pipe. Our licenced plumber completed the repair before we tested the repair then the line to find it secure.
We backfilled with sand before reinstating the the concrete section and cleaned the site.
