We then attended to another reported concealed water leak in Alderley, a water ,meter test revealed a leak of 9600 litres per day. A pressure test failed, after tracing the line we then introduced a combination of compressed air, water and tracer gas. We then drilled a number of holes in the concrete near the after drilling a number of pilot holes in the concrete outside the bathroom.
We identified the most likely leak site before we removed a section of concrete and excavated to locate a failed 16mm poly pipe. Our licenced plumber completed the repair before we tested the repair then the line to find it secure. We backfilled with sand before reinstating the the concrete section and cleaned the site.
