This morning we attended to a reported concealed water leak in Sunnybank Hills. We conducted a water meter test which revealed a leak of 2335 litres per day. A pressure test failed.
We had been to the property back in April this year to find a leak under the driveway.
We conducted a series of tests which included using compressed air, water, tracer gas and after drilling a number of holes.

We identified the likely leak source, removed a section of concrete to locate a failed 25mm poly pipe. Our licenced plumber completed the repair before testing the repair and then the whole line to find it secure.

We backfilled with sand before reinstating the concrete and cleaned the site.

Trevor and Sam attended my property to detect and repair an underground water pipe leak. They were very professional and experienced with their work. They located the water leak under the concrete slab exactly where it was, using various radar tool and equipment. Once Sam identified the location of the possible leak, Trevor seconded it by doing his own verification. This allow them to neatly cut the concrete slab with precision, minimising any destructive work and damages. They replaced the faulty joints and retested the new connection with compressed air. They were also very meticulous in their work, testing and retesting several times to make sure there is no leak to the new joint, before backfilling it. Definitely gave me great confidence through the entire process, as their experience shows they know what they are doing. Well done guys. Great job!
