This morning we attended to a reported concealed water leak in Runaway Bay. A water meter test revealed a leak of 2880 litres per day. A pressure test failed. Noting the property was full of concrete. We then traced the line and introduced a combination of compressed air and tracer gas before drilling some pilot holes to hone in on the leak site.

Using a Quikcut concrete saw we removed a section of concrete to locate a failed 16mm poly pipe damaged under the NBN conduit. Our licensed plumber configured the rapid before testing the line to find a further smaller leak. This was repaired and now the whole line is secure.
We backfilled with sand before reinstating the concrete section and cleaned the site.

Trevor and Sam attended my property to detect and repair an underground water pipe leak. They were very professional and experienced with their work. They located the water leak under the concrete slab exactly where it was, using various radar tool and equipment. Once Sam identified the location of the possible leak, Trevor seconded it by doing his own verification. This allow them to neatly cut the concrete slab with precision, minimising any destructive work and damages. They replaced the faulty joints and retested the new connection with compressed air. They were also very meticulous in their work, testing and retesting several times to make sure there is no leak to the new joint, before backfilling it. Definitely gave me great confidence through the entire process, as their experience shows they know what they are doing. Well done guys. Great job!
