06 Nov Swimming pool leak detection and repair in Holland Park
This morning we attended to a reported leaking concrete pool in Holland Park.
We checked the previous puttied site on the wall of the pool and noted a further crack was noted, this was dye tested and found to be leaking.
We then pressure tested the return line which did not hold pressure, gas was seen coming out of the wall of the pool near the furthest return jet from the pump.
We applied epoxy putty to the site before re detesting the site. We isolated the pump for 24 hours to allow the putty to cure.
Leaks of this nature are uncommon in concrete pools.
