We then attended to a reported leaking pebblecrete pool in Balmoral. We conducted a series of tests which included checking the multi port valve, inspecting the skimmer box, pressure testing all possible concealed plumbing. We entered the pool and detected a leak on the outside of one of the light fittings. We applied epoxy putty to the site before re dye testing. We checked all the penetrations in the pool and noted we were unable to remove the main drain cover to replace the hydrostatic valve. We noted the solar return provision was plugged indicating that disused line was the site of a previous leak. All other concealed plumbing was tested and confirmed as secure.
