We then travelled to Capalaba to a reported leaking fibreglass pool, we tested the multi port valve before inspecting and dye testing the skimmer box. We noted some imperfections and apparent gaps around the slate steps, after dye testing the area we identified a leak source which was clearly drawing in dye. We applied epoxy putty to the leak site and progressed around the steps applying putty to further suspect sites. At the same time we pressure tested the suction and return concealed plumbing to find it secure. We used our hydrophone microphone to test all penetrations including the main drain and hydrostatic valve.
