We then attended to another reported leaking pebblecrete pool in Westlake. We tested the multi port valve before pressure testing the suction line which did not hold pressure, we located the leak near the skimmer box. We removed pavers and cut concrete to locate a failed 50mm fitting in the wall.
After careful excavation our licenced plumber reconfigured the pipework before re testing it and finding it secure. We then tested the return line which also did not hold pressure. we repeated the process before locating a failed 40mm retune pipe deep in the wall of the pool. We plugged the return jet and reconfigured the plumbing to find it secure. We entered the pool and inspected the light fitting before replacing the hydrostatic valve. We backfilled the site leaving the pavers for a tradesman to reinstate. Our client was incredibly unlucky to have leaks in both the suction and return lines under concrete.
