This morning we attended to a reported leaking return line in a swimming pool in Everton Hills. Another contractor detected the leak but was unable to complete the repair. We pressure tested the return line to find the line was not holding pressure, further testing confirmed the leak location as advised by the other contractor.
We removed a section of concrete to reveal a failed 40mm pressure pipe 90 degree bend which was sitting hard under the 50mm suction line.

Our licenced plumber completed the repair by reconfiguring both suction and return lines at the location.

We pressure tested the repair then both suction and return lines to find them now secure.

We backfilled with sand before reinstating the concrete section back in situ, then cleaned the site.
