This morning we attended to a reported leaking swimming pool in Tarragindi, we had previously a detailed discussion with our client about his problem.
We tested the multi port valve on the sand filter before entering the pool and inspecting, dye testing and replacing the hydrostatic valve.

We then dye tested the spa area noting a number of gaps in the grout line. Some of these gaps were drawing dye. Further examination of the spa located further gaps in the grout which were drawing dye.

The grout in the spa had failed. We inspected and dye tested all three lights noting previous putty having been applied to a previous leak site.
We applied further putty to the one of the light surrounds which appeared to have cracked.

We discussed our findings with our client before referring our client to a reputable tradesman who can re grout the entire spa.
