This morning we attended to a reported leaking fibreglass swimming pool in Lota. We noted the water level was well under the skimmer box on our arrival.
We pressure tested the concealed plumbing which included the suction, return and solar suction provision lines all of which held pressure.
We then used our hydrophone microphone to test the skimmer, light, hydrostatic valve and all other penetrations.
We entered the pool and inspected , dye tested and replaced the hydrostatic valve which was in poor condition.
We inspected the light housing and all penetrations to locate a crack in the return jet which was drawing dye.
We applied epoxy putty bead to the inside of the jet before re dye testing too find it secure.

Trevor and Sam attended my property to detect and repair an underground water pipe leak. They were very professional and experienced with their work. They located the water leak under the concrete slab exactly where it was, using various radar tool and equipment. Once Sam identified the location of the possible leak, Trevor seconded it by doing his own verification. This allow them to neatly cut the concrete slab with precision, minimising any destructive work and damages. They replaced the faulty joints and retested the new connection with compressed air. They were also very meticulous in their work, testing and retesting several times to make sure there is no leak to the new joint, before backfilling it. Definitely gave me great confidence through the entire process, as their experience shows they know what they are doing. Well done guys. Great job!
