This morning we attended to a concealed water leak in Fernvale, our elderly clients had received a high water bill, engaged a local plumber who then referred them to us.
A water meter test revealed a leak of 685 litres per day, a pressure test failed.

After tracing the line and introducing a combination of compressed air, tracer gas and water we located the leak being a failed 25mm poly pipe which was under a large rock and adjacent to a tree root.

We removed the tree root and our licenced plumber completed the repair before we tested the repair then the whole line to find it secure.

We backfilled with sand and reinstated the site before checking all the services inside the house.

Finally we assisted our client to seek a rebate from their water provider for some of the excess charges caused by a concealed leak and provided the with a pensioner discount.
