We then attended to a reported pool prime issue in Eight Mile Plains. The pool was green as our client was unable to get the pool pump to hold prime.
We inspected the pump filtration system and re primed the pump basket noting there was a non return valve in place.
We turned the pump on and the pump was fully primed, we noted the pump was really noisey meaning the bearings are on their way out.
We checked the multi port valve and noted water exiting through the waste pipe whilst in filtration mode. A client adjusted the valve to backwash then rinse and returned it to filtration mode.
We rechecked the waste pipe and now it was not leaking. This implied the multi port valve had failed.
Our licenced plumber changed over a disused solar pump with the main pump and now the pool is running as it should.
Our client would engage a local pool shop to replace the spider gasket or the multi port valve itself.

Trevor and Sam attended my property to detect and repair an underground water pipe leak. They were very professional and experienced with their work. They located the water leak under the concrete slab exactly where it was, using various radar tool and equipment. Once Sam identified the location of the possible leak, Trevor seconded it by doing his own verification. This allow them to neatly cut the concrete slab with precision, minimising any destructive work and damages. They replaced the faulty joints and retested the new connection with compressed air. They were also very meticulous in their work, testing and retesting several times to make sure there is no leak to the new joint, before backfilling it. Definitely gave me great confidence through the entire process, as their experience shows they know what they are doing. Well done guys. Great job!
