This morning we attended to a reported leaking concrete pool in Eastern Heights. Our client claimed the pool lost around 450 mm over night. The pool was green upon our arrival with the water level around 300mm below the bottom of the skimmer box. Our client was unable to fill the pool in order to have it clean which is our requirements. In order to assist we attended and entered the pool and replaced both hydrostatic valves which was in the pool and spa. We inspected the walls of the pool noting all the return jets were out of the water.

In our experience the sudden lost of water is generally caused by a failed hydrostatic valve which had not been changed by our client in the two years she had been at the property.
