This morning we attended to a reported leaking fibreglass pool in Fernvale. We noted there had been a previous putty repair on the fibreglass wall. We used our hydrophone microphone and tested all the penetrations include the puttied patch where we heard the sound of running water meaning a possible leak.
We pressure tested the suction line, then used our LeakTrac 2400 to test the integrity of the fibreglass walls and floor. We swept the walls and floor twice which directed us to the puttied patch.
We entered the pool and dye tested the patch which was drawing lots of dye. (a confirmed leak site). We re puttied the site before re dye testing.
We then inspected dye tested and changed the hydrostatic valve before inspecting and dye testing the skimmer face.
Finally we checked the multi port valve under load.
We walked through the results with our client.

Trevor and Sam attended my property to detect and repair an underground water pipe leak. They were very professional and experienced with their work. They located the water leak under the concrete slab exactly where it was, using various radar tool and equipment. Once Sam identified the location of the possible leak, Trevor seconded it by doing his own verification. This allow them to neatly cut the concrete slab with precision, minimising any destructive work and damages. They replaced the faulty joints and retested the new connection with compressed air. They were also very meticulous in their work, testing and retesting several times to make sure there is no leak to the new joint, before backfilling it. Definitely gave me great confidence through the entire process, as their experience shows they know what they are doing. Well done guys. Great job!
