This morning we attended to a reported leaking fibreglass swimming pool in Collingwood Park. Our client had another contractor that attended in May 23, however the pool was still leaking.
We obtained a copy of the previous invoice to ascertain what works had been undertaken and those which had not been completed.
We pressure tested the solar suction and solar return provision concealed plumbing to identify the solar suction line was not holding pressure. We tested the line which failed on 3 separate occasions. We used our CCTV camera to inspect the light housings, skimmer box and return jets.
We dye tested and replaced the hydrostatic valve as a preventative measure going forward.
We completed our report and provided it to our client who would forward to the pool builder for consideration of a warranty claim.
