Recently we attended to a reported leaking fibreglass pool in Burpengary East, we pressure tested all concealed pipework then dye tested and hydrophoned microphone the skimmer box, return jets, solar in and solar our provisions, blower holes, hydrostatic valve and lights.

We noted some cracks in both light housings which we applied a small epoxy putty bead.
We then used our Leaktrac 2400 which tested the integrity of the fibreglass shell, the Leaktrac directed us to a possible leaking hydrostatic valve.

We entered the pool and dye tested which confirmed the leak site. We were unable to remove the hydrostatic valve using the approved removal tools.

We discussed our findings with our client giving options going forward.

Trevor and Sam attended my property to detect and repair an underground water pipe leak. They were very professional and experienced with their work. They located the water leak under the concrete slab exactly where it was, using various radar tool and equipment. Once Sam identified the location of the possible leak, Trevor seconded it by doing his own verification. This allow them to neatly cut the concrete slab with precision, minimising any destructive work and damages. They replaced the faulty joints and retested the new connection with compressed air. They were also very meticulous in their work, testing and retesting several times to make sure there is no leak to the new joint, before backfilling it. Definitely gave me great confidence through the entire process, as their experience shows they know what they are doing. Well done guys. Great job!
