This morning we attended to a reported swimming pool leak, our clients neighbours on the lower side were complaining of wetness below the pool.
We conducted a series of tests which included checking the sand filter under load, hydrophone and dye testing all the penetrations and pressure testing the concealed plumbing.
We identified the return line was not holding and further tests pin pointed the leak under the tiled concrete path behind a return jet.
Using a concrete saw we removed a section of path and excavated to locate a failed return jet.
Our licenced plumber reconfigured the plumbing before we tested the repair then the whole line to find it secure.
We backfilled with sand and reinstated the path before cleaning the site.
