We then attended to another reported leaking vinyl lined swimming pool in Taringa.
We used our Leaktrac 2400 to test the integrity of the vinyl walls and floor. We swept the walls and floors twice before finding a a tree root had penetrated through the vinyl liner. We entered the pool and dye tested confirming the leak site . We noted further tree roots were felt under the vinyl liner. We removed as much of the tree root as possible before applying epoxy putty patch to the leak site. We re dye tested to confirm it was secure.
We detailed our findings to our client and strongly suggested she poison the gold cane palm which was located close by to the leak site.
