This morning we reattended to a leaking suction pipe at a swimming pool on Bribie Island. We previous identified a leak near the skimmer box, our client had a section of concrete removed to save some money.
We pressure tested the suction line to identify the 90 degree bend under the skimmer had failed.
Our licensed plumber reconfigured the pipework before we tested the repair then pressure tested the whole line to find it secure.
We entered the pool noting a number of previous puttied vertical cracks on the wall of the pool. We inspected the waterline tiles checking for cracks or missing grout. We did identify a crack in the bottom right hand side of the skimmer box which we puttied over.
