Leaking swimming pool return pipe located and repaired in Macgregor

This morning we attended to a reported leaking swimming pool in Macgregor. We have attended previously to this address fixing a concealed water leak then a leaking multi port valve on the sand filter in Nov 22.
We noted upon arrival the pool was green , our owner claimed he was unable to run the pump due to the amount of water loss.
We pressure both the suction and return lines to find the suction secure and the return line leaking. We introduced tracer gas into the return line and obtained and indication under the tiles close to a return jet. We drilled some discreet pilot holes then re introduced tracer gas. After speaking to our client of indicative costings we then used our concrete saw and removed some tiles then concrete before locating a damaged 50mm return pipe and a loose 40-50mm reducer located around 1.2 metres away. Our licensed plumber reconfigured the plumber before we tested the repair then the whole line to find it secure. We cleaned and backfilled the site, with our client to arrange for a concretor to complete the rectification of the site. We then tested the return line to find it is fully primed as it should.
