We then attended to a reported leaking pebblecrete pool in Joyner. We checked the multi port valve and identified that it was leaking to waste, we supplied and installed an line shut of valve to the waste line. We noted there were some apparent structural cracks on two walls of the pool. We conducted a series of tests which included using a hydrophone microphone, dye testing, pressure testing on concealed plumbing. We identified the return line was not holding pressure, we were able to confirm the leak site using compressed air. We marked the location for the owner to complete the repair. We then entered the pool and checked the hydrostatic valve and light cable. We then inspected both cracks on the wall we were able to confirm one of the cracks was leaking. We applied epoxy putty to the site before re dye testing.
