This morning we attended to a reported swimming pool leak in Upper Coomera. We noted there was some water on tiles below the pump filtration system. Our client had conducted a bucket test which did not identify a leak. The pool is elevated on a tiered block. We tested the multi port valve before commence pressure testing all concealed plumbing. In this pool there is a suction and return line, water feature suction line, water feature return line and tank suction line.
We were able to confirm all but one of the lines, the remaining line was not able to be confirmed due to plumbing configurations.
We plugged this remaining line in order for determine whether this resolved the issue.
We entered the pool inspected removed and re installed the hydrostatic valve.
We walked through our testing results with our client on site and suggested he takes a sample of the pooling water and a sample of the pool water to a pool shop to compare.
