This morning we attended to a reported swimming pool leak in Capalaba, our client had already conducted a bucket test which confirmed a leak. We noted a lot of air returning back into the pool from one of the return jets. We tested the multi port valve, before identifying an air leak with the suction pipe feeding into the pump. We repaired the leak then pressure tested all concealed plumbing to find them secure. We then noted one of the two lights had a lot of silicone around the cable which was loose and not secure. We dye tested to confirm a large leak, we removed the silicone and applied an epoxy putty bead to the light cable before re dye testing. We then entered the pool and replaced the original hydrostatic valve.
