This morning we attended to a reported concealed water leak in Capalaba. We conducted a water meter test which identified a water leak of 288 litres per day. We then conducted a series of tests before locating the leak under pavers at the side of the house. We removed the pavers and excavated to located a failed copper/poly “T” piece immediately below a stormwater drain. Out licenced plumber cut away the stormwater drain in order to locate and repair the damaged water line. After testing the repair, then the whole water line which was now secure. We rejoined the stormwater, backfilled with sand before reinstating the pavers and cleaned the site.

We assisted our client with an insurance itemised bill as well as helping our client seek a rebate from some of the water charges incurred by the concealed leak.

Trevor and Sam attended my property to detect and repair an underground water pipe leak. They were very professional and experienced with their work. They located the water leak under the concrete slab exactly where it was, using various radar tool and equipment. Once Sam identified the location of the possible leak, Trevor seconded it by doing his own verification. This allow them to neatly cut the concrete slab with precision, minimising any destructive work and damages. They replaced the faulty joints and retested the new connection with compressed air. They were also very meticulous in their work, testing and retesting several times to make sure there is no leak to the new joint, before backfilling it. Definitely gave me great confidence through the entire process, as their experience shows they know what they are doing. Well done guys. Great job!
