This morning we attended to a leaking swimming pool in Stafford Heights, we noted there was water in a hole on the outside of the skimmer box where the owner had excavated. We tested the multi port valve before pressure testing the suction line, the main drain line and the return line. All held pressure except for the return line. We then entered the pool and inspected and dye tested the main drain and hydrostatic valve. We replaced the hydrostatic valve before re dye testing the drain.
The only was going to monitor the water on the outside of the skimmer box before getting us to return to pinpoint the return line leak site.
