We then attended to a reported leaking ensuite in student accommodation in Upper Mt Gravatt, After obtaining background, we conducted a series of tests which included inspection behind the mixer cover plate which identified a large gap in the grout. We then conducted a shower base dye flood test noting the shower base tiles and wall tiles were in need of a re seal. We then tested the toilet and vanity drains before identifying the leak to be located in the toilet waste. Water was seen dripping through the ceiling below after the toilet was flushed. We referred our client to a maintenance plumber to attend and rectify the leak.
