This morning we attended to a reported concealed water leak in Redbank Plains after being contacted by a local plumber looking for assistance in locating the leak.
We conducted a water meter test which indicated a leak of 2880 litres per or 1 litre every 30 secs.
We conducted a pressure test which failed.
We then isolated all the services , traced the line then introduced compressed air and using our acoustic Sewerin listening device located the leak close to the water meter.
We excavated the site to locate a failed poly/copper joiner.
We phoned our referring plumber who attended shortly there after and he proceeded to complete the repair.

Trevor and Sam attended my property to detect and repair an underground water pipe leak. They were very professional and experienced with their work. They located the water leak under the concrete slab exactly where it was, using various radar tool and equipment. Once Sam identified the location of the possible leak, Trevor seconded it by doing his own verification. This allow them to neatly cut the concrete slab with precision, minimising any destructive work and damages. They replaced the faulty joints and retested the new connection with compressed air. They were also very meticulous in their work, testing and retesting several times to make sure there is no leak to the new joint, before backfilling it. Definitely gave me great confidence through the entire process, as their experience shows they know what they are doing. Well done guys. Great job!
