Broken hydrostatic valve identified, removed and replaced in Ormeau

This morning we attended to a reported leaking pebblecrete pool in Ormeau, we were directed to wetness below the pool which lined up with the main drain. We tested the multi port valve before inspecting and dye testing the skimmer box, we noted some slight cracking inside the front face , we applied a epoxy putty bead to the suspect sites. We then used a hydrophone microphone to test all the penetrations namely the skimmer box, return jets, solar provisions, main drain and 2 x lights.
We then entered the pool and inspected the main drain noting the hydrostatic was broken with part of thread still inside the main drain. We managed to remove the thread before replacing the 50mm hydrostatic valve before re dye testing the drain. We removed both light fittings and dye tested where the cable penetrates the shell. We applied epoxy putty bead to one suspect light cable.
