We then attended to a reported leaking large pebblecrete pool in Forestdale. Our client believed the pool was initially losing more water when the pump was running. We immediately checked the multi port valve which was leaking to waste. We then hydrophoned and dye tested all the penetrations before entering the pool and replacing the original 20 year old hydrostatic valve in the main drain. We removed both lights and brackets and inspected where the light cable penetrates the shell. We noted dye was escaping through the outside of a return jet and applied an epoxy putty bead.
