We then attended to a reported leaking shower in Eagleby. We first noticed the carpet was wet in the hallway adjacent to the shower leading into a bedroom. We conducted a series of tests which included water meter test, pressure test, shower breach test, drain test, simulated shower test and a shower base flood dye test. During the testing we identified 2 x gaps in the shower base which was drawing dye, water and dye was seen in the adjoining bedroom wall. The waterproofing membrane has failed. Our licensed plumber will complete a report including images and videos back to our property manager client who will brief the landlord. We updated the tenant on our findings.
