This morning we attended to a reported heavily leaking fibreglass pool in Tannah Merah, our client stated the pool water had dropped to only a 1/3 metre from the bottom. This is far from idea in a glass pool as they can pop out of of the ground. We used our hydrophone microphone and immediately noted a large crack on the pool floor close to the main drain.
We entered the pool and dye tested which confirmed the leak source, we also replaced the original hydrostatic valve before applying epoxy putty over the crack and inside the main drain. We retested the site to find it now secure.
