13 Sep Swimming pool leak testing in Upper Coomera
This morning we attended to a reported leaking pebblecrete pool in Upper Coomera. We tested the pump filtration system under load before hydrophone and dye tested the skimmer box, returns x 3, solar suction provision x 2 , solar return x 1, lights x 2 and main drain including the hydrostatic valve.
We then pressure tested all possible concealed plumbing namely suction, return and solar provisions. We were unable to test the spa line due to its plumbing configurations. We then entered the pool and removed the light fittings and brackets to test the light cable, we puttied both light cables as a preventative measure going forward. We then inspected the main drain before replacing the original hydrostatic valve. We then noted a hairline vertical crack in the pebblecrete measuring around 1.2 metres. We dye testing the crack before applying a epoxy putty bead before re dye testing. We walked thru all the testing with our client
