26 Sep Swimming pool leak detection and repair in Kuraby
This morning we attended to a reported leaking pebblecrete pool in Kuraby, after obtaining the background information from our client we conducted a number of tests which included checking the waste valve on the cartridge filter, before we pressure tested all the concealed plumbing. This pool had provision for solar heating. We noted the solar return line was plugged. We pressure tested all the concealed plumbing to identify the return line was not secure. Being mindful of costs we simply plugged the return lines at the pool then redirected the return line into the unused and secure solar suction line. We entered the pool at checked and replaced the 50mm hydrostatic valve before examining and dye and hydrophone testing all other penetrations including skimmer box, light, main drain and hydrostatic valve
Our client was onsite throughout and we walked thru our testing and repairs undertaken.
