This morning we attended to a reported swimming pool concealed plumbing leak in Deception Bay. We first tested the multi port valve before pressure testing the suction and return lines. The suction line held pressure , the return line did not. We introduced a combination of compressed air and water and identified a likely leak source under the pebblecrete path. Using a quickcut concrete saw we removed a square section of concrete. We excavated to located a failed 40mm joiner. Our licenced plumber reconfigured the pipe work. we then tested the repair then the entire line to find the line secure. We backfilled the site with sand before reinstating the concrete back in situ before a pressure clean of the site.
