Leaking hydrostatic valve detected and repaired in Worongary

This morning we attended to a reported leaking main drain in a pebblecrete pool in Worongary
After obtaining background from our client we tested the main drain using a hydrophone microphone which resulted in the sound of water running heard. We entered the pool and inspected the main drain hydrostatic valve which was heavily puttied at its base, we noted a leak adjacent to the hydrostatic valve and the main drain. We reset the valve which our client had just replaced before applying epoxy putty to the leak site. We re dye
tested to find it now secure. We then at our clients request removed the light fitting and bracket before covering the light cable with epoxy putty for potential future use. We re hydrophoned the main drain which resulted in nil sounds heard.
