This morning we attended to a reported leaking fibreglass pool in Park Ridge. We tested the multi port valve, then inspected and dye tested the skimmer box noting some cracking above the water line. We then pressure tested the suction and return lines, the suction line held but the return line failed. We then drilled some pilot holes in the concrete path adjacent to the return jets before introducing tracer gas which directed us to the highest reading close to a return jet. We then entered the pool and replaced the hydrostatic valve. Our client was going to excavate and complete the repair.
